John Whetsel has been involved in the real estate profession for over 40 years and has been involved in the Tallahassee Real Estate market for over 27 years. John has played a large part in many of Tallahassee's trademark residential developments including Killearn Estates, Golden Eagle, and the development of many different neighborhoods in Tallahassee's South West.
Far from the average realtor, John has run multi-million dollar real estate firms with over 100 agents, trained some of the nation's top real estate agents, been awarded multiple national top producer awards, and assisted in the creation of some of the most innovative and creative real estate transactions for his clients.
Besides John's wealth of knowledge and experience, he also brings with him more than 27 years of contacts in industries surrounding real estate such as financing sources, inspectors and contractors, developers, and a preferred list of professionals who John has already established relationships with in order to help you with whatever your real estate needs may be, regardless of the scenario.

Furthermore, John believes in giving back to the community and has served on the board of directors for the Ronald McDonald House, The Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Big Bend Hospice. John was inducted into the Leon High School Football Hall of Fame as a major contributor to the program. John and his wife of 41 years, Dorothea, who teaches at Deerlake Middle School, are active members of Epiphany Lutheran Church. They have four children and have resided in Tallahassee since 1985.
